Application process and guidelines

• Each applicant must fill in a separate form.
• Forms must be FULLY completed
• The Social Workers’s form must have a stamp
• The form has to be completed by hand (Not typed)
• The medical report has to have a stemple

The tariff per person will be given on request. The price includes the following:

• 3 meals per day, plus coffee/tea mornings and afternoons
• Washing
• Caregiving

(If the applicant receives SASSA, Rusoord will take the whole amount and will apply for subsidy from the government. TAKE NOTE: WE CAN ONLY APPLY FOR SUBSIDY EVERY 3 MONTHS. THE FAMILY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WHOLE AMOUNT)

• There will be a yearly tarrif increase as decided by the Council of Rusoord.
• The resident or family is responsible for medication, diaper and toiletries.
• The rooms are approximately 3m x 3m. The resident is welcome to bring their own TV, dish, fridge, radio, kettle, curtains or own furniture. (Please take note that if you wish to install a dish, the family is responsible for all the arrangements and costs. Also please note there is a levy for electric appliance in the room for example: kettle, microwave or electric blanket)
• No resident is allowed to have any medication in their rooms. The medication is handed to the nurses and will be handed out accordingly)

NB!! It is very important to hand in the original forms. It may not be faxed or e-mailed.
